On April 6th 2007, sitting in Chitvan a thought crossed my mind, i.e. in today’s digital world everyone has access to technology. So photographs can be modified, websites might not always give the true picture, hence we needed to do something to give a true picture to our prospective guests. It was then that I decided to do something different, and thought of providing a Video coverage of our Lodge on our website.
With no lights, no clap, no one to say action and roll, I decided with a friend to stand up, and impromptu do a 10 minutes video on Chitvan. David Miles my friend who was with me had a Camera and we did the shoot, he got about 1 hour of coverage which he very professionally edited to 10 minutes which would show case Chitvan.
This Video was done in April 2007, when Chitvan was not fully ready, we will be putting a new Video by September 2008 once everything is complete in the Lodge. It is an effort to walk you through our Lodge and try and give you a brief on what is Chitvan all about.
As the original Video was about 480MB which takes very long to download, hence we reduced it to 20MB. In doing so we have compromised a bit with the Visual appeal, but the Audio remains intact.
